Job Description
Prochant India is looking for detail-oriented and motivated candidates to join its healthcare operations team as Business Process Associates. The role involves supporting healthcare revenue cycle management activities, including medical billing, claims processing, payment tracking, and maintaining accurate patient billing records. Candidates will work with healthcare-related information and follow established procedures to ensure that billing transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
This opportunity is suitable for freshers and professionals with up to two years of experience who are interested in developing their careers in healthcare business process outsourcing. The selected candidates will assist with billing documentation, verify information, review claims-related details, and support daily revenue cycle operations. Applicants should have good analytical skills, attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and the willingness to work night shifts to support international healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with medical billing and healthcare revenue cycle management activities.
- Review patient billing information and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of medical insurance claims.
- Verify billing details and identify missing or inconsistent information.
- Help maintain accurate records of claims, payments, and billing transactions.
- Assist with accounts receivable follow-ups and payment reconciliation, as assigned.
- Identify claim rejections or discrepancies and escalate them to the appropriate team.
- Follow standard operating procedures and healthcare client requirements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient and healthcare-related information.
- Meet assigned productivity, accuracy, quality, and turnaround-time targets.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of medical billing and healthcare operations.
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) concepts.
