Job Description
Agastya World School & Sri City Univ is looking for a responsible and technically skilled professional for the position of School IT Administrator / Information Technology Manager. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of campus IT infrastructure, server management, and network connectivity. The role involves managing the institution’s IT environment, maintaining server operations, ensuring stable network connectivity, and providing reliable technology support for academic and administrative activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the overall IT infrastructure across the school and campus.
- Monitor and maintain servers to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
- Perform server configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Manage campus network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Ensure reliable internet and network connectivity across classrooms, laboratories, offices, and other facilities.
- Identify and resolve server, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Monitor IT systems and perform regular maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and technical vendors for connectivity-related issues.
- Maintain IT infrastructure documentation, server records, and network configurations.
- Support faculty, administrative staff, and students with infrastructure-related technical requirements.
- Plan and coordinate IT infrastructure improvements and upgrades.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of campus IT infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of server administration and server maintenance.
- Understanding of server monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity.
- Ability to troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure planning and maintenance.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in IT administration, infrastructure management, or server support is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of server management and networking.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Ability to manage IT operations in an educational campus environment.
