Role Summary
As a Content Moderator (Process Associate) at Genpact, you will be part of the Trust & Safety operations supporting global digital platforms and social media clients. Your primary duty is reviewing user-generated content (videos, photos, live streams, text comments, and profiles) that has been flagged by automated algorithms or users, ensuring strict enforcement of community guidelines, user safety policies, and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Review & Policy EnforcementReview flagged digital media across queues (video, images, text posts, user profiles, advertisements, and external links).Evaluate content against strict client community standards covering hate speech, harassment, graphic violence, self-harm, adult content, spam/fraud, and misinformation.Take objective and definitive action on each flagged item: approve, tag, age-restrict, demote, or permanently remove content.
2. Quality & SLA AdherenceMaintain high quality benchmarks (typically 95%+ audit accuracy) under rigorous internal and client quality checks.Meet assigned throughput and Turnaround Time (TAT) metrics (number of review tickets/posts cleared per hour).Ensure prompt and sensitive escalation for critical edge cases (such as direct threats of harm or emergency safety alerts) to the crisis response queue.
3. Trend Detection & FeedbackIdentify emerging patterns, organized bot activity, evasion tactics, or coordinated abusive behavior across social media trends.Participate in regular calibration sessions with Quality Leads and Team Managers to ensure uniform interpretation of evolving platform policies.
4. Data Security & IntegrityMaintain strict confidentiality, Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) rules, and adherence to data privacy guidelines (such as GDPR and PII protection) regarding platform user profiles.
