Job Overview

A Process Associate – AI/ML Data Annotation is responsible for labeling, categorizing, and reviewing data such as images, text, audio, and videos to help train Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow project guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Label and annotate text, images, audio, and video data according to project requirements.
2. Categorize and classify data to support AI and Machine Learning model training.
3. Identify objects, people, and activities in images and videos using annotation tools.
4. Perform text annotation, including tagging keywords, identifying entities, and classifying sentences.
5. Review and validate annotated data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
6. Follow project-specific guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
7. Identify incorrect labels, duplicate entries, and missing information and make necessary corrections.
8. Use web-based annotation platforms and internal tools to complete assigned tasks.
9. Perform quality checks on completed work and maintain high accuracy standards.
10. Meet daily productivity targets and complete tasks within assigned deadlines.
11. Maintain the confidentiality and security of project data.
12. Report complex cases, unclear instructions, and data discrepancies to the team leader or quality analyst.
13. Collaborate with team members to improve annotation quality and process efficiency.
14. Maintain records of completed tasks and follow project updates.
15. Adapt to new annotation tools, workflows, and AI/ML project requirements.
