About the Job Position
A Software Development Instructor – GenAI teaches students and aspiring developers software development concepts, programming skills, and Generative AI technologies. The role involves delivering technical training, designing practical projects, guiding learners in AI-assisted coding, and helping them develop industry-ready skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Technical Training: Teach programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and other relevant development technologies.
- Generative AI Training: Explain Generative AI concepts, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-powered development tools.
- Curriculum Development: Design and update training materials, lesson plans, coding exercises, and learning resources.
- Practical Project Guidance: Help students build software applications and projects using GenAI technologies.
- AI-Assisted Coding: Train learners to use AI coding assistants for code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Software Development Fundamentals: Teach data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, APIs, and software engineering practices.
- Hands-on Workshops: Conduct coding sessions, technical workshops, assignments, and live demonstrations.
- Student Mentoring: Guide students in resolving coding challenges and improving their technical problem-solving skills.
- Project Evaluation: Assess assignments, coding exercises, and projects and provide constructive feedback.
- Application Development: Demonstrate how to integrate LLM APIs and GenAI features into software applications.
- Responsible AI Practices: Teach AI limitations, data privacy, security, ethical use, and verification of AI-generated code.
- Progress Monitoring: Track student performance, learning outcomes, attendance, and course completion.
- Industry Alignment: Keep training content updated with current software development practices and emerging GenAI technologies.
- Career Preparation: Help learners prepare for technical interviews, coding assessments, and software development careers.
